BKM Express, the digital wallet implemented by Bankalararası Kart Merkezi (BKM), added a new innovation to its payment platforms to enable convenient mobile payments at restaurants. ‘Mobile payments at restaurants’ project of BKM Express is completed with the collaboration of two leading companies of Turkey. ‘Mobile payments at restaurants’, which is implemented in collaboration with Mekanist, the top online venue discovery and commenting platform of Turkey, begins with Olivia’s Pizzeria, the most favorite venue of pizza lovers.
DIGITAL PAYMENT WITH THE CARDS OF 16 BANKS
Pizza lovers simply have to place their orders at Olivia’s Pizzeria to pay with the ease of ”mobile payments”, , implemented collaboratively with Mekanist and BKM Express, which has 700 member merchants and more than 400 thousand members and at which the debit and credit cards of 16 banks can be registered. While pizza lovers are eating their meals, Mekanist and BKM Express are waiting ready for the payment. The users of BKM Express state that they want to pay via their mobile phones after the meal. The payment can be made in two different methods thanks to the merchant application, developed for Olivia’s Pizzeria. The users login the application of Mekanist after they ask for their bill and move their phones close to the terminal to be brought by the waiter and they finish the payment easily and quickly via BKM Express through iBeacon technology. Another option for the users is to pay via QR code. When they scan the QR code in the terminal, they can make their payments very easily and quickly via BKM Express. Such easy and quick payments are not only convenient for users but also for the restaurant owners.
