We invite you to join forces with Mobey Forum’s Digital ID Expert Group to explore the topic of Digital ID Wallets and the multiple models currently being built in various countries.
With the announcement of eIDAS in Europe and other international initiatives enabling Digital ID Wallets, it is important for banks to form an educated view and a plan for a way forward. Mobey’s Digital ID Expert Group is exploring this topic and will publish a report looking into the roles banks can play in the Digital ID Wallet landscape and how banks view these various positions.
Mapping strategies for banks
We invite you to participate in a short survey to help us gain a more comprehensive view of banks’ positions and to contribute to the recommendations for banks moving in this space. Please note all the data collected will be anonymised, and no findings can be connected to any of the respondents or their organisations. The report will be made available free-of-charge to benefit the entire industry. Mobey Forum is a non-commercial organisation and the aim of this research is not to make profit.
What we mean by Digital ID Wallet
We are defining the Digital ID Wallet as a mobile application enabling strong customer authentication and the ability to provide identity data attributes that could be issued and accepted by financial institutions, governments, and others. Digital ID Wallet can also be referred to as data / fact wallet.
(Please note: apps/wallets enabling authentication solely to bank’s own services is not defined as identity wallet.)
