Francesca has been international Head of Product Management at Ikano Bank AB since 2015. A self-proclaimed “payments nerd,” Francesca has spent most of her career in financial services working for companies such as American Express, Citibank, Nordea and Danske Bank. She was working in payments at the dawn of the Internet and looks forward to the next great wave of technological innovation and the disruption of the banking industry to the benefit of consumers and other end users. She truly believes it will be a catalyst for positive change among all surviving players in the ecosystem.
Business Development Director at imaginBank. He joined CaixaBank Digital team in 2013 and has been working with SSNN, Marketing Online / Sales and also Mobility team. Actually he is in charge of imaginBank app (product) department and customer digital onboarding department. Also, his teams are deeply linked CaixaBank digital transformation process.
Before the financial sector, David always worked in digital and internet companies. He started as a Graphic designer, continued learning as a front end developer, grown as a marketing online specialist and finally met the business environment as digital analyst.
In the last 10 years he has collaborated in many projects based on different business models as International B2C e-commerce, premium services through a Spanish Social Network and “pay per read content” in the editorial business.

Howard Friedman, a senior partner at Sygeny Ltd., has led data science teams in the health and financial sectors for nearly two decades. He teaches at Columbia University and has published on subjects including data analytics, data modeling, economics and cost-benefit analysis.

Julian’s career began at Apple in the late ‘80s where focussed on the growing interdependence of the telecommunications networks and computers; he worked on various advanced technology projects including early ADSL based Set Top Box, Newton [forerunner to the iPhone], Internet games console and other. He left Apple to join AT&T Unisource in 1996 where he conceived funded and built what was arguably the first ever ‘digital cash payment’ service for mobile phones. This later became an independent company SmartAxis after he lead a management buyout of the technology from AT&T.
After a couple of his own Internet start ups focussed on identity and mobile data on mobile phones: Julian joined Barclays. As part of the engineering team in Radbroke but seconded to head office he describes his role as ‘putting an Internet Lens’ on service strategies.
Julian joined the engineering team at Barclays in October 13 and his primary focus has been on the building blocks of crypto currency [blockchain et al] and their potential to improve the ways Banks move money, manage identity and enable participation. The team’s work has resulted in three patents being published in recent weeks.
Hans-Jörg Widiger has a unique 25 years background in banking, payment and identity management. He worked in Germany, Estonia and Switzerland in different functions at companies like PWC, UBS, Credit Suisse and Gemalto. Special focus of his current work is the transition of the prepaid payment business into digital payment areas such as IoT and crypto finance.
Steve Kirsch is a serial entrepreneur who is now on his 7th company, Token, a Silicon Valley based technology company, focused on building a global open banking platform that addresses PSD2 and helps bank generate new revenues. Steve invented the optical mouse, pioneered desktop publishing (FrameMaker), Internet search (Infoseek) and in more recent history he is widely known as a security and identity expert. Steve has had over $2 billion in exits from his previous companies, solidifying his legacy as a successful Silicon Valley leader. Steve is now dedicating his talents, energy and expertise to build a state-of-the-art payment infrastructure.
Jukka Yliuntinen leads the Global Solution Sales team at Giesecke + Devrient. Mobile Security (G+D) and is G+D representative also in the Mobey Forum Board of Directors. Jukka has over 20 years of experience on payment, identification and telecommunications technologies and businesses and is actively contributing to the digitalization of banking and payment world-wide.
Satu has over 15 years of experience in helping financial institutions to build online and mobile solutions.
Currently she is working at Aktia Bank responsible of Online solutions and Mobile Bank, which was successfully launched this autumn. She is also responsible of Aktia’s eIdentification solutions.
Peter leads UBS’ exploration and development of Distributed Ledger Technology solutions, based out of the Level39 FinTech accelerator in London’s Canary Wharf.
Since 2003, Pete has worked at UBS in a variety of technology roles in Europe and Asia. He spent the last nine years based in Hong Kong, where most recently he represented the UBS Group CTO in Asia Pacific with an additional focus on the UBS global strategic regulatory change portfolio.
Dennis Raabe is Head of Digital Experience Management at Deutsche Postbank AG. In this role he oversees all customer-related online and mobile activities, including multiple award-winning online banking and mobile apps. He is responsible for the web and app strategy of Deutsche Postbank AG and is focused on developing innovative digital retail banking solutions. His work influenced the digital transformation at Postbank and has been recognized industrywide.
Raabe is a professional in digital technologies as well as UX and gained banking knowledge first as expert in direct sales and later as product lead online banking for Deutsche Postbank. Prior to that he studied e-business and direct marketing and earned a diploma in business computer science.
Manuel is a financial services professional with 19 years of experience in different segments and products (Retail, Affluent, Business, Trade, Insurance, Payments, Consumer Lending) and organizations (large & medium banks, only-digital banks, consumer & payment specialists).
Since he joined unoe bank (BBVA group only-digital bank) in 2001 he is been involved in Digital Banking, delivering solutions for the digital customers. His focus has been in designing and implementing Digital Transformation Programs and Strategies as well as analyzing the impact of Fintech in the Banking and advising FIs on how to respond to this new scenario. More recently, he has joined everis, an NTT Data company, where he leads Payments & Open Banking in Europe.

Jalal recently joined the Group digital sales at Erste Group.
Chris is a serial startup enterpreneur who started his first company right after university. His companies developed breakthrough technologies such as digital music recognition, one click playlisting and user generated media metadata. The customer base included Apple, Amazon, Shazam, Microsoft, Netflix and many others. After the successful exits Chris moved back to Europe and is now heading up Blue Code with the mission to disrupt the mobile payment space with a truly European solution. Blue Code payments are independent of (US based) card schemes and operate in real time from checking accounts with anonymous one time use tokens.
With over 15 years of experience in business development, Arman has a proven track record in cross-region business development and management with a strong technology edge. Douglas Hartung currently serves as Diebold Nixdorf’s senior director, business development & alliances. In this role, he is responsible for identifying, leading and evangelizing new business and product ventures to expand the organization’s software portfolio across the Banking and Retail sectors.
An experienced professional focused at the intersection of payments, mobile and financial services, Douglas has managed innovation and new product development programs in numerous large organizations. Prior to joining Diebold Nixdorf in 2014, Douglas was responsible for mobile payment services and emerging products with PULSE, a leading electronic funds transfer network. He also worked with H&R Block, where he led the company’s strategy to differentiate its tax business with new products and services. In addition, Douglas held various business strategy and product development roles with Sprint Communication Corporation.
Douglas is a native Californian and currently resides in Houston, Texas. He received a master’s degree in business administration from the University of California at Irvine, and bachelor’s degrees in both business economics and philosophy from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
Mr. Marviala is in charge of Digital Services in Automatia Pankkiautomaatit Oy, the company operating real-time platform services for Siirto mobile instant payments in Finland. Formerly responsible for new business development, he has also led the development project of Siirto and Automatia Real-time Payment Platform (ARPP), together with a variety of other payment service innovations, including the launch of cash recycling ATMs in Finland.

Josep Grau is a digital innovation project manager in the strategic development and innovation department in CaixaBank. He is also innovation professor in the Management department of Polytechnic University of Catalonia,
Josep has a wide knowledge base and experience on innovation in banking and financial institutions. As a Fintech expert, he has experience in digital identity, payments, lending, security and others, but particularly in Blockchain.
Josep did his bachelor on electrical engineering and a master in telecommunication engineering in Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Due to his motivation on having a positive impact on the world and willing to contribute to create sustainable value for the society, Josep moved to Sweden in order to do a Master on Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management by KTH Royal Institute in Stockholm, where he wrote his master thesis on “Strategic innovation in financial sector: Blockchain and the case of Spanish banks”
After studying branding and graphic design in Italy Maurizio Poletto moved to Vienna in 1996 to work on new media projects for several large European brands and cultural institutions. In 2003 he founded Collettiva Design to focus on branding and innovation strategy. In September 2012 he was appointed as creative manager and managing director of BeeOne GmbH, a strategic innovation unit for Erste Group, one of the largest central European financial institutions. He has a wife, two kids and a bike.

Peter is a seasoned international innovation leader with more then 20 years in the payment and digital commerce domains. He served as SVP Mobile Commerce at Deutsche Telekom, CEO Clickandbuy, CEO EMEA Powa Technologies and Supervisory board Mastercard Europe. His recent role is as member of the executive team to run the Software and PS Line of Business for DieboldNixdorf in DACH
Jordi Guaus is a Telecom Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and also holds a degree in Business Administration from the Open University of Catalonia.
He joined CaixaBank in the year 2000, having worked at Vodafone for 5 years as the in-charge of Corporate Market Services Development, prior to that. At CaixaBank, a leading retail bank in Spain, Jordi has worked in Mobile Financial Services, developing services including the first Mobile Internet Banking.
While working as the Head of Mobile Payments, Jordi leaded the NFC & Remote Payments related initiative at CaixaBank. Where, he was focus on Mobile Payments in collaboration with the Cards Unit of CaixaBank. Moreover, he was the Project Manager of the mobile NFC pilot in Sitges, Spain (“Mobile Shopping Sitges 2010”), the first NFC payment trial in Spain. Later, he worked in the deployment of CaixaBank’s mobile payment services.
In 2014 Jordi joined the CaixaBank’s Marketing Department as a Digital Marketing Director to give transversal support to all marketing team and to focus on innovative projects. Some of the more relevant projects managed by Jordi during this period are the launch of imaginBank, first mobile only bank in Spain, the creation of the Payment Innovation Hub together with Samsung, Visa, Arval and Global Payments, and the opening of the imaginCafe, a physical place for the millennials.
In addition, from 2008 to 2015, Jordi was member of the Mobile Channel Working Group of the European Payments Council (EPC) working on establishing the necessary standards and business rules related to the initiation and receipt of credit transfer, direct debit and card payments through mobile devices under SEPA (Single European Payment Area).
Jordi also joined the Mobey Forum’s Board of Directors in the year 2009, and he was appointed as Chairman of the Board in 2013 leading the association since them. Mobey Forum is a non-profit making, global, financial industry-driven forum, with a clear mission to encourage the use of digital/mobile technology in financial services. Furthermore, Jordi has also been coleading several expert groups within Mobey, as for example the last one, the Open Banking Expert Group, and he has participated in the publishing of several white papers as a result of that.
